I have talked quite a bit about this great, iconic design and this watch which is not particularly old, exceed the pre-sale estimate by miles...Apparently purchased by a Chinese collector, all I can say is congratulations. This is a wonderfully successful transformation from the original, yellow gold models. Whereas it might be considered a bit 'blingy' to cover such a classic in diamonds, these sparkling diamond versions are beautifully made and formed and look absolutely stunning on the wrist. I do not see this interest in these models diminishing. Grab one whilst you can!
